“Dreams feel real while we’re in them. It’s only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange.” – Dom Cobb
What if you could dream within a dream? What if someone could come in and steal your ideas through your dreams? What if someone could plant an idea or a concept inside a dream?
This is what Christopher Nolan’s newest film explores and portrays. The result,= was an absolute masterpiece. The action scenes are gripping and, as cliche as the phrase is, literally keeps you at the edge of your seat. The twists and turns are carefully crafted and the scenes are beautifully shot.
The acting was terrific. Leo has struck again and Ellen Page has proven she can do more than be the smart-ass she was in Juno. In my opinion, it is Jordan Gordon-Levitt who steals the show. His quick-thinking and ass-kicking during the hotel scene was nothing short of fantastic.
The open ending was the perfect way to cap off the most amazing film of 2010 yet. I highly recommend Inception as it nothing short of perfection.
